“ECOMOD” ECOMAI Modeling Toolbox supports the model-based specification of embedded/IoT systems.

 ECOMOD Modelling Methodology:

considers the system-under-design on different levels (System, Technology)
differs strictly between “the problem” (Requirements) and “the solution” (Architecture)
provides practice-proven Methods with defined Tasks to produce concrete Products

ECOMOD Framework, based on the SysML:

  • tailors SYSMOD for the special needs of ECOMAI-specific systems
  • supports the modeling process in Enterprise Architect with model patterns and a profile (extending the SysML)
  • provides pre-filled project templates for the identified ECOMAI system types (Autonomous Data Collector, Autonomous Control Loop, Actor-controlled System)

Use Case presented at the Conference: Predictive Maintenance with AI for Platform Screen Door Systems (PSD)

PSDs are used in public transportation, but PdM (Predictive Maintenance) is not yet applied. This use case discusses the innovation development of Albayrak (Aldoor/Turkiye), a designer and manufacturer of PSD.

Motor Control Co-Simulation

Demonstrator: A co-simulation video of different motor models (in MATLAB) controlled with variants of RISC-V controllers using Extendable Instruction Set Simulator (ETISS).

Features:

  • A GUI flow runs the co-simulation based on the Matlab model and microcontroller’s specification and firmware.
  • Allows extension of the RISC-V cores by adding peripherals such as accelerators for AI-based control.
  • Precise modelling of real-time control applications using cycle-accurate simulation of RISC-V cores.
